0 How to remove the pendrive write protection You can removewriteprotection from your pen drive using this method: 1) Open start menu, in the search bar type regedit and press enter. This wil open the Registry Editor. 2) Navigate to the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies Note: If the registry key Storage Device Policies does not exist, you will need to create it manually. 3) Highlight Storage Device Policies, then create a New DWORD (32-bit) Value named WriteProtect 4) Double click the key Write Protect in the right-hand window and set the value to 0 in the Value Data box and click"OK". 5) Restart your computer and try writing data to your pen drive.
