How do u block a website on your PC ?? I use Facebook on my home PC, but i have a habit to remain Logged in, even why i shutdown my PC. So in my absence if anyone has turned ON my pc & accessed Facebook, then that would be a problem for me. So what i can do is, I can block certain websites, so that nobody can access it. To do this: Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc you will see a file named HOSTS. Open it with NOTEPAD. Then search for the line 127.0.0.1 localhost To block the website facebook.com for example, add this text under 127.0.0.1 localhost: 127.0.0.1 www.facebook.co mYou can add as many sites as you want, but do not forget to prefix it with " 127.0.0.1". 6. Save the file Now Facebook will get blocked in all web browsers.
